It is time to journey up to the second floor, where you will find the hall of mirrors. Federal,
painted, victorian, primitive. And magic mirrors that make you look ten
years younger.
On the right side of the hallway, you'll find two rooms filled with country and period furniture.
Here's the baby corner. Don't forget that that dry sinks make excellent changing tables. And who needs one of those ugly gliders in your nursery when you can have an antique rocking chair?
You could spend hours looking through the shelves and shelves of primitives, silver, pottery...
...jewelry, depression glass, antique tools and much more:
Time for a bathroom break! Everything in here is for sale (well, we'd prefer to keep the toilet).
You'll certainly need a break after all that shopping. The inventory is always changing any Brandywine View - even in the bathroom!
Next, we move to the vintage room. A touch of country mixed with unique salvage, architectural, retro and chippy finds.
Here's a peek at the freshvintage side of the room:
How stunning would this cupboard look in your family room with the high-ceilings? Or maybe a two-story entryway?
These pillows by Chaumiere are available exclusively at Brandywine View Antiques. These one of a kind pillows and bolsters are handmade from custom fabrics and quilts.
The pillows range from bright, family-friendly quilting to soft, muted linens.
In the hall towards the third floor stairway, you'll find our gallery of framed prints, paintings and photographs:
Stay tuned for our next post, when we'll take a walk upstairs to the attic, where bargains abound!
